Metaphors of Movement
Metaphors of Movement system, developed by Andrew T Austin, is a rich model of understanding and utilising our internal metaphors, which can help those “stuck states” where nothing else seems to work. It offers clarity on the metaphorical inner landscape, use of language to describe our experiences, and allows deep and often surprising discoveries of “where we stand” in the world. Metaphors of Movement training & events are open to therapists, coaches and general public, and delivered face-to-face at The Sand & Sound Centre in Greater Manchester (4 day training) or online (introductory half-day workshop).
