Metaphors of Movement

About Metaphors of Movement training

Metaphors of Movement is a system of understanding and utilising our own and our clients’ internal metaphors, which can enhance precision in our choice of therapeutic interventions and potentially help those “stuck states” where nothing else seems to work. It offers clarity on the metaphorical inner landscape, use of language to describe our experiences, and allows deep and often surprising discoveries of “where we stand” in the world.

Feedback from training participants

'Metaphors of Movement is an extraordinary model for understanding ourselves and creating powerful change, and Masha Bennett is a skilled and gifted trainer.' (Andy Hunt)

'I found the training both fascinating and insightful, giving me an essential tool for tapping into my subconscious “road blocks” or “stuck states". The metaphors, idioms and drawings were very powerful, and highly revealing of areas of my life where I still feel blocked in hurts, mindsets, thinking or behaviours that do not serve me.'

(Paula)

'Masha makes complex concepts easy to understand and practise, whilst being fun and creative, allowing for profound shifts to occur... If you are a therapist, this training is essential. Essential.' (Jane)

'Masha's deep knowledge and delivery of Metaphors of Movement creates a safe space for the elicitation of hitherto unknown, unconscious patterns… and the chance to thoroughly practice with this incredible modality.' (Jill)

'It was an intense but fabulous 4 days, sensitively guided by Masha. Great venue, great people, great ideas to work with and even greater snacks. Can thoroughly recommend and can't wait to do more. As always with Masha, riches for both heart and mind.' (Susannah)
